The Voting Has Begun!
The proposed PIPOA covenant amendments will:
1. Strike the unlimited waiver of liability that the PIPOA currently enjoys if they fail to properly maintain our bulkheads, boat ramps, and canal system, and,
2. Roll back the annual CAM fees to 2006 levels.
Upon completion of this process the owners in will see their annual CAM fees reduced by 50% (interior lots), or by 80% (canal lots).
Once sufficient signatures have been gathered for a subdivision, and the legal amendments have been filed with Nueces County, we will petition the PIPOA to refund to those owners the pre-paid but unearned CAM fees as calculated as of filing date.
The PIPOA has no authority to reduce any services due to these amendments. We believe that due to their liability exposure they may pay extra attention to the Bulkheads, Boat Ramps, and Canals in these amended subdivisions.
The ARCH has provided several methods to vote, all of them contactless, and from the quiet and private safety of your homes.
