Welcome to the ARCH

The ARCH (Amendment Revision Coalition of Homeowners) is an organization of PIPOA Homeowners dedicated to restoring our Bylaw voting rights.

 

WE BELIEVE that amending our Bylaws is a right that should be reserved solely for the homeowners.

 

WE BELIEVE that the board should be prohibited from throwing our elected board members off the board unless the board member has committed a crime per state law.

 

The ARCH has been organized to collect ballots to call a Special Member Meeting to allow ALL 5300 PIPOA Members a vote to restore these rights. We are organized, funded, and supported by your friends and neighbors.  Request a Ballot

 

Significance of the ARCH

In Roman times the Arch solved an important problem, supporting large structures and spanning impossible distances. The most important part of any Arch is the Keystone which locks all stones into position and allows the Arch to do its job.

 

In our community the PIPOA is the structure we use for community support and services. But the HOMEOWNERS are the most critical part of our ARCH. The HOMEOWNERS are the KEYSTONE. Without HOMEOWNER support, the PIPOA fails.

 

Mission of the ARCH

For months we have asked the PIPOA Board to place 2 amendments on the agenda for the March 10, 2018 Annual Members Meeting, but the Board has refused. Therefore, we have formed to collect Ballots by Proxy to call a Special Members Meeting to vote to correct our bylaws by the following two amendments.  Changes that will place these important powers where they belong—in the hands of the more than 5,300 property owners instead of a mere 7 people who comprise the Board of Directors:

 

1. The right to amend our bylaws shall be reserved SOLELY to a vote of the Homeowners and not usurped by a board vote.

 

2. The board shall be prohibited from throwing our elected board members off the board, unless a board member has committed a crime (per Texas law).
